He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Johnson and Norita Johnson (McFarland); and his sister Debbie Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Johnson of Rushville, Shawna Faye Maupin of Bargersville, Indiana, Christy Cunningham of Batesville and Jason Nobbe of Brookville, Indiana; his siblings, Teresa Ford of Laurel, Curtis Johnson of Shelbyville, Eric Johnson of Shelbyville and Jeff Johnson of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Mason Cunningham and Kolton Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home (1025 Franklin Ave, Brookville, IN 47012). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Funeral Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home (1025 Franklin Ave, Brookville, IN 47012).
