We announce the death of Gerald Thomas Bowen (Lawrenceburg, Indiana), who passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of 92. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bowen and Margaret Bowen (DuFrense); his wife Dixie Bowen; and his siblings, John Bowen, Ethan Bowen, Cliff Bowen and Ethie Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Bowen (Carol) of Houston, TX, Patricia Kirk (Blaine) of Lawrenceburg, IN and Nancy Kim (Paul) of Waterford, MI; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Billie Jo, Devon, Blake, Matt, Kristina and Amanda. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
