He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Adams (Paul), Jim Whitaker, Greg Whitaker (Angie), Kristina Meyer and David Meyer; his grandchildren, Taylor Jackson (Robbie), Mitchel Meyer (Hannah), Emma Meyer, Braden Adams (Danielle), Maria Jackson (Cody), Anna Whitaker, Megan Franks (Cohl) and Katelyn Shackelford (Alex); his great grandchildren, Nash James, Hayes, Magnus, Nayla, Landon, Ivy Jane and Easton James; and his siblings, Wendell Whitaker, Wood Whitaker (Ruth), Cena Graves (Collins), Linda Day (Darrell), Wilma Holden and Mary Halcomb (Bill). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home (455 Ridge Ave, Greendale, IN 47025). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (542 Walnut St, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025).
