As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melena may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Fillenwarth and Joyce Diefenbach Fillenwarth (Raisor). She is survived by: her brother Kevin Fillenwarth (Millie); her sibling's children, Abby, Hannah and Evan; her great-nieces, Madelyn and Elsie; and her great-nephew Brayden.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fitch Denney Funeral Home (455 Ridge Ave, Greendale, IN 47025). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
