He is survived by: his children, Joseph "Justin" Ammer (Pam), Joan Ooton (Robert B.) and Robert "Rob" J. Ammer; his brothers, Ray Ammer (Judy), Joe Ammer (Steffen) and Jim Ammer; and his nieces and nephews, Sam, Jay, George Ammer, Deb Schneider, Joy Irwin and Lori Wahlen.
The family ask that memorials be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Reach out Pregnancy Center or the Knights of Columbus.
