He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. Swartz and Delta Swartz Yoder (King); his sister Leanne Walter; and his brother-in-law Steven Ringenberg. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Swartz (Graber); his children, Lauri Carnahan (David) of Spencerville, Lisa Roth (Darin) of Naples, FL, Michelle Sinn (Rodney) of Ft. Wayne and Matthew Swartz (Amy) of Ft. Wayne; his siblings, Gaylen Swartz (Rose) of Leo, Steve Swartz (Connie) of McPherson and Karen Ringenberg of Archbold, OH; and his brother-in-law Jack Walter (Jan) of Lee Summit, MO.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
