She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wade and Juanita Wade (Budd); her husband Jack Ambrose Slagle; and her siblings, Budd Wade and Phyllis Williamson.

She is survived by: her children, Nancye Slagle of Cary, Jack "Jay" Slagle (Marlene) of Indianapolis and David Slagle (Susan) of Carmel; and her sister Joyce Lange of West Lafayette. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
