He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul C. Hartley and Jean Hartley (Marmur); his wife Glenda Faye Hartley (Adkins); and his brothers, Gene Hartley and Larry Hartley.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Jean Hartley of Whitestown and Eric Christopher Hartley of Danville; his grandsons, Corban E. Hartley (Danielle) of Bargersville and Caleb A. Hartley of Bloomington; his great grandchild Tanner Lee Hartley; his siblings, Mike Hartley (Nancy) of New Ross and Phyllis Hutchison of Emsworth, Pennsylvania; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Hartley of Avon and Judy Hartley of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
