James Mossman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Mossman of Lebanon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Mossman to pay them a last tribute.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Carey Mossman and Georgie Mott Mossman; his siblings, Martha Mott Klepfer and Jack Mossman; his wife Marcia Florence Keller of Vincennes; and his sons, Mark Mossman, Michael Mossman (Katie) and Matt Mossman (Teresa) of Lebanon. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary (2400 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (319 E South St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery.
