He was predeceased by: his mother Lela Mae Creek; his daughters, Jini Galloway and Joelynna Eli; his sister Lela Mae Halliburton; his parents-in-law, Charles and Marilyn Ranney; his siblings-in-law, Timothy, Elizabeth "Betsy" Ranney and Linda Ranney; and his great-niece Dixi Ranney.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy (Johnson); his children, John Johnson (Miranda), Juli Atkinson (Antony Lipa) and Jodi Bennett (Jeff); his grandchildren, Adrienne Johnson, Abigail "Abby" Johnson, Olivia Eli, Harmony Joy Hanson, Joshua Bennett (Rachel), Jonathan Bennett and Evan Galloway (Mariko); his siblings-in-law, Harold Halliburton, Todd Ranney (Paola), Trent Ranney (Kim) and Lynda Ranney; and his sibling's children, Shayne Halliburton, Wayne Halliburton, John Halliburton (Stacey), James Ranney (Jane), Robert Ranney (Alicia), Austin Ranney, Samantha Foy (Ryan), Joel Ranney (Jacelyn), Jason Ranney and Julia Smith (Jackson). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
