He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack L. Day and Patricia Day (McDole). He is survived by: his wife Jeri Day of Lebanon; his sons, Joshua Day (Jessica) of Indianapolis and Jack Day (Diondra) of Lebanon; his granddaughter Sutton Louise Day; and his siblings, Elizabeth Lewis (Jim) of Lebanon and Steven Day (Taffy) of Lebanon.
