He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorman Robert and Mary Josephine Farris (Vanausdall); and his siblings, James Farris, Edna Richardson, Norma Stricklin and Eva Edwards (Jim).
He is survived by: his wife Judy Farris of Lebanon; his children, Johnna Kelly (Scott), Brooke Naberhaus (Gregg) and Chad Farris (Heather); his grandchildren, Alexa, Erin, Luke, Taylor, Cooper, Irelynd, Ava, Sophia, Audrey, Sophie and Braden; his great grandchildren, Leni, Bond, Scheyer and Stetson; and his brothers, George Farris (Dixie) and David Farris.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the American Legion Post 113 (1020 Hendricks Dr, Lebanon, IN 46052).
