He was predeceased by: his niece Allison Grinstead of Sheridan; and his nephew Cody Richardson of Lebanon. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Walter Grinstead Sr. of Kokomo and Phyllis "Maxine" Grinstead (Jett) of Lebanon; his wife Julie Richardson; his in-laws, Steve and Charlotte Richardson of Lebanon; his children, Joseph Grinstead (Callie) of Lebanon, Ruby Werner (Zak) of Lebanon and Sam Grinstead (Missy) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Kipton, Kasen, Kannon of Lebanon and Caroline of Crawfordsville; his siblings, Tina McMahon, Tara Ziegler and Patrick Grinstead; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Richardson (Kim), Joe Richardson, Tony Richardson (Pam), Todd Richardson (Heather), Lori Keppel (Mark) and Kristy Grinstead. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
