He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Shoemaker and Virginia Shoemaker (Pipes); and his siblings, Junior, Jean Shoemaker, Martha Henderson, Melba Johnson and Mildred Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Shoemaker of Lebanon; his children, Tim Shoemaker (Sherri), Andy Shoemaker and Rita Mae Moore; and his brother Jerry Shoemaker. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
