He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Petty and Lillian Petty (Hinkle); his son David Lee Petty; his siblings, Paul, Max, Vivian, Fern, E. Joyce Robare (Johnny) and Alyce Cunningham (Jim); and his son-in-law Michael Boehm.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Petty (Kathy) and Nancy Boehm; his grandchildren, Brandi Organ (Tony), Brittany Borreggine (Phil), Michael Boehm (Nicole), Jeffrey Petty (Peyton) and Melissa Delello (Zach); his stepgrandchildren, Michael Derryberry (Jill) and Sarah Derryberry; and his great grandchildren, Brook, Savannah Borreggine, Kayden Organ, Noah and Salem Delello.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
