She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Bolinger and Juanita Bolinger Zook (Stoops); her husband Virgil Ames; her son Gene Wethington; her siblings, William Caroll Bolinger Jr. and Christine Anderson; and her sister-in-law Mildred Frasier.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Cindy Wethington; her grandchildren, Brandy Tormey (James), Caroll Eugene Wethington II, Joshua Sisk and Jason Sisk; her great grandchildren, Jordan Nichole Norris, J. P. Phillip McGriff, James Fredrick Tormey, Joseph Sisk, Ellie Sisk, Everly Sisk and Madeline Sisk; and her sister-in-law Norma Pell. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
