She was predeceased by: her parents, James Glendenning and Mary Opal Glendenning (Shockley); her husband Richard Lee Staton; and her siblings, Jim Glendenning, Bob Glendenning and Letha May Cox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie S. Smith (Michael) of Lebanon, Rebecca A. "Becky" Ottinger (Gary) of Whitestown and Tonya K. Staton of Lebanon; her grandsons, Michael J. Smith (Karen) of Lebanon, Christopher L. Smith (Colton Chaney) of Sacramento and Matthew L. Ottinger (Katie) of Greenfield; and her great grandchildren, Izak Smith, Riley Smith and Mar'Qwon Starks.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
