He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobbie Joe and Myrtle Ruth Ashley (Davis); and his son Adam Jay Ashley. He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Westerfield (Jeramiah) of Zionsville and Alicia Gramlin (Michael) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Charli Westerfield, Caroline Westerfield, Callie Westfield, Emerson Wolfbrandt, Jazlyn Gramlin, Taylor Gramlin and Claira Gramlin; and his sister Rebecca Bridge (Alan) of Champaign, Illinois..
