He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Marrs and Bessie Marrs (Hammond); his wife Mary Beyers; his sister Shirley Redman; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen McGovern, Marjorie Beyers, Patricia Beyers, Joan Beyers, Betty Beyers, Louis Beyers, Kirk Beyers, Pete Redman and Joseph McGovern; and his nephew John Beyers.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven of Columbus and Michael of Indianapolis; and his nieces and nephews, Lori, Elizabeth, Carol, Joseph, Ellen, Eileen, Stephen, Kevin, Shelly, Anne, Shawn, Martin, Julie, Suzanne, Andy, Angela and Shelley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (319 E South St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United States Navy Memorial fund or Boys and Girls Clubs of Indiana.
