With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Wyss of Leo, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton White and Pearl White (Dunn); her husband Donald Wyss; her daughter Sharon L. Weimer (Terry); her grandchildren, Emily Weimer and Jordan Schmucker; her brothers, Gary White and James White (Liz); and her sister-in-law Barb White.
She is survived by: her family, Elvis, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Tom Jones; and her children, John C. Wyss, Tim P. Wyss (Karen), Theresa A. Berdelman, Julie J. Taylor (Daniel) and Mary A. Schmucker (James).
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Highland Park Cemetery (2403 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825).
