He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudeene Hartman and Marion Moon; his brother Larry Hartman; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Jarvis and Marsha Hartman.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Moon; his daughters, Candy Bauer (Harold "Hal" D. Jr.) and Cathy Wiseman (Ken); his sisters, Carol Jean Hardin (Keith), Bette Jo Jarvis and Judy Spring (Joe); his grandchildren, Jessica Bauer, Kyle Bauer, Megan Wiseman and Carisa Turpen (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Madison Turpen, Alivia Turpen (Livi), Uriah Turpen, Simeon Turpen and Emma Turpen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
