He is survived by: his children, Scott Roakes (Geraldine) of Moundville, AL, Janice McCallum (Henry) of Bedford, Laura Roakes of Roanoke and Christopher Roakes (Monica) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Matthew Roakes (Megan), Russell Roakes (Taylor), Reggie Roakes (Ashley), Doug McCallum (Breanna), Greg McCallum, Holly Lyons (Ron), Kara Pecoraro (Alex), Finn Mroz-Roakes and Jonah Mroz-Roakes; and his great grandchildren, Jake Roakes, Owen Roakes, Ollie Roakes, Avery Pecoraro, Elijah Pecoraro, Jeremy McCallum and Raelynn McCallum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
