With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Charles Kastl of Lexington, Indiana, who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine Brown Kastl and Frank Thomas Kastl; his parents-in-law, William Zachary and Patricia Clark; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Zachary and Lori Rushlow.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Zachary Kastl of Lexington, Indiana; his sons, Brent Shaffer (Bethany) of Charlestown and Frank Patrick Kastl of Lexington, Indiana; his grandsons, Ayden Shaffer, Nolan Shaffer and Cohen Shaffer; his siblings, Edward Kastl (Mandy) of Texas and Patricia Kastl Shinn (Brian) of Allen Park, Michigan; and his siblings-in-law, David Zachary (Wanda) of Waynesville, Michael Zachary (Karen) of Brooklyn, Daniel Dwyer (Trish) of Grayling, Michigan, Leann Sargent (Frank) of Burleson and Cheryl Wolkens (Jim) of Grayling, Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huron School District Transportation Department, 24870 Merriman Road New Boston, Michigan 48164 where a scholarship fund will be set up for special needs students.
