With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ira White of Lexington, Indiana, born in Chavies, Kentucky, who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Bill Martha White; his daughters, Kathy Clutter and Janet Bunch; and his siblings, Lawrence, Charlie, Scotty White, Marzine Cowan and Wanda Gambill.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon White; his children, Ira L. White (Michah), Billy Barrett (Rena) of Milan, Jason Dickerson (Jodie) of Georgia, Linda Meeks of Austin, Paula Holland (Dennis) of Patroit, Barb Laswell of Kentucky, Sherry Royse (Kenny) of North Vernon, Charline Dailey (Chris) of Indianapolis and Bobbi Hensley (Steve) of Scottsburg; and his siblings, Lonnie White of Scottsburg and Patricia Robison (Curtis) of Scottsburg, Indiana.. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
