It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Amos of Lexington, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Amos and Laura Ellen Lyle (Copple); his wife Patricia Carolyn Amos; and his siblings, Frederick Amos, Jesse Amos, Maysel Benge, Wilson Amos, James Amos, Martha Alsup, Nannie Jones, Edward Amos and Jo Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Napier (Gary) of Lexington, Pamela Marshall (Chris) of Lexington and Michael Amos (Natalie) of Scottsburg; his grandchildren, Garrik Napier (Amanda), Goni Luttrell (Scotty), Ginna Pierpont, Devin Marshall, Dustin Marshall (Kelsey), Darin Marshall (Ellie), Brody Amos, Skyler Amos and Sydney Amos; and his great grandchildren, Melea, Jace, Jarin, Piper, Peytie, Tessa, Tayson, Maddix, Merrick, Mayes, Myla, Grant, Penelope and Hattie.
