He was predeceased by: his parents, Crodell Collins and Viola Mae Collins (Gibson); and his sisters, Betty Collins and Annette Stiner. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Collins (Fry) of Lexington, Indiana; his daughters, Teresa Kimmick (John) and Kelly Frazee (Mark); his sister Helen Stewart; his grandchildren, Kristina Kimmick (Brittany), Staci Pluskota (Frank) and Johnathon Kimmick; and his nieces and nephews, Janie, Connie, Polly, Dianne, Sheri, Jesi, Desira and Rick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (465 W McClain Ave, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
