He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Hoppes and Aubrey Hoppes; his wife Christene Hoppes; and his siblings, Lowell Hoppes, Marjorie Stevens (Robert) and Camilea "Bo" Antrim (Jerry).
He is survived by: his children, Bev Jones, Becky Hoppes (Kevin Sizemore) and Rodney Hoppes (Lisa); his stepchildren, Larry Baker (Judy), Patricia Benson, Sheila Childers, Beverly Hollowell, Alma Baker, Tina Redding and Kim Eyler (Ron Rose); and his sister Shirley Powell (Maurice). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home (310 N Main St, Liberty, IN 47353). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
