He was predeceased by : his grandparents, James, Pauline Burchfield and Mary E. Miller. He is survived by : his parents, Joseph A. Miller and Louetta Burchfield Miller; his wife Beth; his children, Brianna Renee Miller, Garrick Miller and Brent Means (Kayla); his siblings, Michael Miller (Debbie), Josh Miller (Lisa) and Paula Miller (Jerry Davis); and his grandchildren, Avery Means, Jaxson Miller, Abel Miller, Bowen Means, Logan Miller, Bryson Miller and Oakley Means. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions in honor of J.J. can be made to Liberty Country Club, or the Liberty VFW Post 1472.
