We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2022, at the age of 61, Karen Proffitt of Liberty, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her mother Jacqueline; her significant other Donnie Mitchell; and her siblings, Toni Fry (Barrett), Bobby Jones and Chuck.

She is survived by : her daughters, Jacquelin Pellazari (Jeremy) of Granate City, Dawn Mitchell (Gary) of Liberty and Katie Mitchell (Jason) of Indianapolis, Indiana.; her siblings, Randy Proffitt of Ross and Connie Smith of College Corner, Indiana.; her grandsons, Austin, Nathaniel, Brenden, James and Jason; her great grandchild Anthony; her granddaughter Destiny Barree Schoonover; and her nephew Tyler Proffitt.
