She is survived by: her children, Dawn Renee Loper (Ray), Gary Jr. Strait (Dawn), Anthony "Tony" Strait, Michael Sr. Strait (Vernie) and Todd Burdette Strait; her stepdaughter Amber Howard; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Byrd; her grandchildren, Kristyn Wallace (Tommy), Dalton Loper (Paige), Ryan Pitcher (Lori), Miranda Finch (Matt), Myra Strait, Mercedes Siler, Maggie Strait, Angel Strait, James Strait, Andrew Arnold Jackson Strait (Anna), Samantha Reece (Jordan), Michael Strait, Jr., Devin Strait, Rugger Howard and Deserii Garcia (Edwin); her great grandchildren, Kallie, Nash, Pixie, Navy, Suede, Denim, Ken, Grayson, Mia, Easton, Myla, Lilly, Marley, Delilah, Darris, Jr., Jagger, Jackson, Stevie, Lathen, Khaebri, Braxx and Kovyn; her siblings, Patsy Vickers, Joe Vickers (Cindy), Noah Vickers and Bernard (Wanda); her niece Amanda Townsend; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Garret and Allison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home (310 N Main St, Liberty, IN 47353). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Brownsville Christian Union Cemetery (209 SE First St, Brownsville, IN 47325).
