With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Bryant (Liberty, Indiana), born in London, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Root and Nellie Smith Root; her spouse Garlin Bryant; her daughter Shelley Chapman; and her siblings, Houston Root, Ernest Root, Doris, Claire, Opal and Thelma.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Chapman (David), Linda Teeguarden (Bob) and Barry Bryant (Ruth); her son-in-law Don Chapman; and her sister Mary. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home (310 N Main St, Liberty, IN 47353). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at the Richland Cemetery W Clifton.
