She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Allen and Dessie Ford Allen; her husband Wilbur Gene Mathews; and her siblings, Glen Allen Jr., Charles Allen and Roberta McMahan.
She is survived by: her sister Joan Mathews; and her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Mathews (Donna), Douglas Mathews (Sandi), Steve Allen, David McMahan, Michael McMahan, Genesee White, Mary Kaye Mathews Halterman, Kim Mathews Buttery, Dawn Mathews Cooper, Robert Mathews, Karen Mathews Snodgrass, Michael Mathews, Amy Mathews Bass, Michael Lee Mathews, Stephen Mathews, Kevin Mathews and Terry Mathews. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home (310 N Main St, Liberty, IN 47353). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
