He was predeceased by: his former wife Natividad Moreno; his mother Tiodora Rodarte; his sisters, Jovita Calvo Moreno and Juanita Calvo Moreno; his daughter Ruth Duque; his nephew Ezequiel Duque; and his grandson Daniel Moreno.

He is survived by: his wife Maria N. Moreno; and his children, Guadalupe Moreno, Aseneht Moreno, Bernabe Moreno Jr., Tiodora Woods, Sara Acosta and Esther Esparza. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
