He was predeceased by: his father Leonard H. Penner; and his son Cody Alexander Penner. He is survived by: his mother Lorena Penner (Detwiler); his children, Trae Church (Derek) and Breana Penner (Ryan Specht); and his brothers, Lee Penner (Debra) of Newton and Lauren Penner (Hilary) of Palmer Lake, Colorado. He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the College Mennonite Church (1900 S Main St, Goshen, IN 46526). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge (12889 N Kern Rd, Syracuse, IN 46567).
