She was predeceased by: her parents, Rigdon William and Beatrice Catherine Sheppard; her brothers, Ronald William Sheppard and Keith A. Sheppard; and her brothers-in-law, David Ballee and Lloyd Miller.
She is survived by: her sisters, Lorene Ballee of Mentor, OH, Leileni "Jean" Miller of Elkhart and Billie Sheppard of Muncie; her sisters-in-law, Marcia Sheppard of Fort Wayne and Sondra Sheppard of St. Joe, Michigan; and her grandmother Alta Purdy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ligonier United Methodist Church (466 Townline Rd, Ligonier, IN 46767). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Catholic Charities of the Fort Wayne and South Bend to be used for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
