He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Lung and Edna Lung (Weist); his former wife Lola Hammel; his grandson Aric Smith; his stepgranddaughter Cheryl Godfrey; and his stepgreat-grandson Andrew Wysong.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Martin; his children, Robert Lung, Jr. of Albion, Karen Schmuck (Daryl) of Kendallville and Sandra Dazey (Chuck) of Albion; and his stepchildren, Michael Clark (Barbara) of Orland, David Clark (Mary) of Wakarusa, Cynthia Hearn of Kendallville, Neta Kellam of Ligonier and Kristine Sobasky of Ligonier. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: 3 great grandchildren: 11 step grandchildren: 25 step great grandchildren: and 7 step great great grandchildren.
