He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Cahill (Powers); his granddaughter Emma Williamson of Maine; his parents, Charles Cahill and Ruth Cahill (Westcott) of Portland, ME; and his siblings, Raymond Cahill and Diane Hall.
He is survived by: his significant other Joan Powers; his children, Susan J. Williamson (Robert) of Maine, Lynn M. Cahill of Weymouth, Lauren J. Racine (James) of West Roxbury and Beth A. Solari (Daniel) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Alex Williamson (Erika) of Ohio, Lucy Foss (Isaac) of Maine, Gabriel, Victoria, Jacqueline Racine of West Roxbury, Charles and James Solari of Hanover; and his great grandchild Rowen Foss. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
