He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Silbaugh and Jessie Silbaugh (Sayre); his brothers, Norman, Paul and Foster; and his children, Vicky and Rod.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughter Zoe Sawyer (Rick) of Elizabeth, Colorado; his grandchildren, Quentin Kocher, Vanya Miller (Jeremiah), Lucas Silbaugh (Divya), Cassie McCloud, Lance Silbaugh (Natalie), Jessie Motsenbocker (Garrett) and Justin Sawyer (Samantha); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Dale (Bratland). He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
