With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude L. Weaver of Linton, Indiana. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest William Carl and Frieda Johanna Volle (Prior); her husbands, Joseph Marczak and Larry Weaver; and her siblings, Roy Volle (Doris), Ernie Lee Volle, Hilbert Volle, Anita Catt (Joe) and Judy Brown (Jim).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Marczak (Kem) of Bicknell, Doug Marczak (Rita) of Linton and Daniel Marczak (Diane) of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Dannica Erickson (Casey), Shawn Benner (Corey), Amberlee Helm (Russ), Valerie Cary (Jacob), Rachelle Trabant (Daniel), Lindsey Mehringer (Kyle), Megan Griswold (Jarrett) and Morgan Marczak; her great grandchildren, Daymen Cox, Alyse Erickson, Pierce Erickson, Olivia Helm, Nolan Helm, Casen Benner, Melanie Cary, Levin Cary, Linkin Cary, Will Trabant, Amelia Trabant, Myah Griswold and Truett Griswold; and her sister Betty Miller (Bob) of Bicknell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson-Poindexter Chapel (89 NW C St, Linton, IN 47441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
