He was predeceased by : his parents, Owen Dailey and Nellie Dailey (Kates); his former life partner Judy Heaton; and his siblings, Alfred Dailey, Ralph Dailey and Leta Allen.

He is survived by : his daughter Lynn Shonk (Tim); his sisters, Lucille Jacobs, Linda Haseman and Norma Nolting; and his grandsons, Derek Lee and Henry Kohl. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
