It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Louise Burris of Linton, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar William and Mary Margaret Hatton (Nicholson); her daughters, Maria Jessee of Dugger and Sylvia Toney of New Castle, IN; her husband James Burris; and her siblings, William Earl Hatton and Wetona Carolyn Hatton.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Corrie Andreas, William Mooney, Amanda and Rebecca Pierce; and her great grandchildren, Tyson Andreas and Paisley Harris.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton Church of Christ.
