She was predeceased by: her parents, Golden Burns and Lula Burns; and her husband Melvin Shipley. She is survived by: her brothers, Howard Burns (Bess) and Raymond Burns; her children, Judy Powers (David), John Melvin Shipley (Deidra) and Jim William Shipley (Lynn); her sisters, Helen Bergstrom and Barbara Gambill; her grandchildren, Michelle Lawrence (Patrick), Kyra Vajentic (Tyler), Samantha, Heather (Kevin), Travis and Derrick Shipley (Mikaela); and her great grandchildren, Dominick, Alexander Vajentic, Emma and Avalynn Lawrence.
