The memory of Mildred Lucille Shipley of Linton, Indiana, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Golden Burns and Lula Burns; and her husband Melvin Shipley. She is survived by: her brothers, Howard Burns (Bess) and Raymond Burns; her children, Judy Powers (David), John Melvin Shipley (Deidra) and Jim William Shipley (Lynn); her sisters, Helen Bergstrom and Barbara Gambill; her grandchildren, Michelle Lawrence (Patrick), Kyra Vajentic (Tyler), Samantha, Heather (Kevin), Travis and Derrick Shipley (Mikaela); and her great grandchildren, Dominick, Alexander Vajentic, Emma and Avalynn Lawrence.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Carlisle Odd Fellows Cemetery.
