Robert Paul Steward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Paul Steward of Linton, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Steward and Roberta Frances Steward (Dalton); and his sisters, Mary Dee Burt (William) and Polly Mead (Marvin). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Laura (Wesner); and his children, Jeanne Coy, Jeffrey Steward (Susan), Sarah Pesavento (Anthony) and Matthew Steward (Brenda). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; six step-great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home (140 E Vincennes St, Linton, IN 47441). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Linton First United Methodist Church in Paul's honor.
