Ruth Luann Floyd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Luann Floyd of Linton, Indiana, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Ramsey and Eliza Ann Ramsey (Fearnot); her husband Donald Floyd; her son James D. Floyd; her son-in-law Joe Turpen; and her siblings, Alice Fields, Helen Pershing, Leo Ramsey, Nola King, Erwin Ramsey and Paul Ramsey.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Ann Turpen of Linton; her daughter-in-law Linda Floyd of Linton; and her grandchildren, Leslie Cooprider (Chet), James Darren Floyd (Jill), Casey Niebrugge (Ric), Cyndee Teater (Ken) and Tim Turpen. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loaves and Fishes, made payable to Linton First United Methodist Church, through the funeral home.
