He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Hollingsworth and Glyde Alice Hollingsworth (Thomas); and his siblings, Grace Corbin, Herschel Hollingsworth, Mary Hudson, Etta Walton and Betty Felker.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hollingsworth (Lundy) of Linton; his sons, Jeff Hollingsworth (Debbie) of Linton, Brian Hollingsworth (Kristy Lewellyn) of Linton and Brett Hollingsworth (Julie) of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Jennifer Beemer (Ryan), Kaylee Hollingsworth, Jordan Hollingsworth (Kaitlyn), Drew Hollingsworth (Lexy) and Brooke Hollingsworth (Ryli VanScoy); his great grandchildren, Jayce Beemer, Avery Beemer, Elliott Hollingsworth, Dylan Hollingsworth and Evelyn Hollingsworth; and his brother Jim Hollingsworth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Linton First Baptist Church or to Linton Miner Football Program through the funeral home.
