He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brotbeck and Eva Brotbeck (Watkins); and his sister Carol Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandie" Schoenradt; his sons, Jason Shideler (Lauren) of Logansport and Jordan Brotbeck of Logansport; his siblings, George Brotbeck (Mary) and Betty Morando (Fred); his brother-in-law Gary Wallace; and his grandchildren, Ashton Shideler, Taryn Shideler and Jaden Shideler.
