Edna Landis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 92, Edna Landis of Logansport, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edna's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard William and Ada May Stark Hancock; her husband Ronald Landis; her stepfather Riley Stark; her sister Betty Shelton (John); and her half-brother Riley Stark Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Don Smith (Mary) of Rockfield, Doug Smith (Jill) of Raton, NM and Carolyn McIninch of Monticello, IN; her stepson Rodney Landis of Logansport; her sister Rosie Mast (Ervin) of LaGrange, IN; and her sister-in-law Marla Stark of Delphi. She is also survived by two grandsons, four great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren.
