He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Winegardner and Edith M. Winegardner (Conrad); his wife Eleanore Winegardner (Willy); his stepdaughter Kathlerine Ann Modricker; his son-in-law Mark Gillaspy; and his siblings, Bob, Victor, Burl, William "Bill", Harold "Fuzz", Melvin Winegardner, Ronald Winegardner and Wanda Kirkham.
He is survived by: his children, Darin Winegardner, Christina Ann Gillaspy, Victoria Winegardner and Jackie Hamilton (Forrest); and his stepson Mark Modricker. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
