Marilyn Frances Spangler Obituary
We bid farewell to Marilyn Frances Spangler of Logansport, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Clifford Fouts and Nellie Johanna Fouts (Minneman); her husband Perry K. Spangler; her children, Stephen Michael "Spanky" Spangler and Terry Cundiff (Jim); her brother Charlie Fouts; and her granddaughter Naomi Ashcraft.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Spangler and Jeffrey A.; her daughters-in-law, Kristi Spangler and Nancy Spangler; her siblings, Doris Ann Laymon, Carolyn Markley, Barbara Fouts and Gene Edward Fouts; and her grandchildren, Tricia Cundiff, Sheila Cundiff, Jacob Ashcraft, Amanda Dalton, Ariel Schall, Eric Cundiff, Abigail Ashcraft, Michael Spangler, Josiah Ashcraft, Luke Spangler and Karis Spangler. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Logansport Chapel (1801 Chase Rd, Logansport, IN 46947). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In appreciation for the wonderful care she received at Woodbridge, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodbridge Patient Activity fund.
