He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion E, Sr. and Dorothy Bell (Rupe); his wife Virginia Bell (Rance); his son Christopher Bell; and his sisters, Nettie Sargeant, Diane Williams and Gloria Artist.
He is survived by: his son Marion E. Bell III; his sister Veronica Lear; and his extended family, Dorothy Smolek, Margaret Ross (James), Rick Rance, Karen Henry (Virgil), Jackie Cody (Alvin), Kim DuVall (Kevin) and Bob Artist. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and his goddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Logansport Chapel (1801 Chase Rd, Logansport, IN 46947). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street Community Church.
